This is a book for everyone of every faith. I'm at a loss for words. I enjoyed every minute of it. The book confirms, on many levels, what I've always thought. Beautifully and thoughtfully written, the author's descriptions and explanations help the reader put it together. I loved the telling of Bernadette and Joan of Arc, as well as the quotes and thoughts of Einstein and the many others included. This heartfelt book of experience, devotion, and determined searching will reveal each reader's needs. I believe it will be different for everyone, a unique kaleidoscope with which each reader will construe a personal meaning and take from it what they need.

5 out of 5 stars

Is Eternity Already Here? by Christian Howard is a thought-provoking and intellectually stimulating exploration of the nature of time, space, and eternity. Through a rigorous examination of philosophy, theology, and science, Howard presents a compelling argument for the existence of eternity as a timeless, infinite reality that exists alongside our temporal world.

At the heart of Howard's argument is the idea that time is not a fundamental feature of reality, but rather a human construct that we use to make sense of the world around us. He draws on the work of philosophers such as Immanuel Kant and Henri Bergson to argue that our experience of time is relative and subjective, and that time itself is an illusion created by our minds.

Building on this foundation, Howard explores the concept of eternity and argues that it is not something that exists in the future or the past, but rather something that is present in every moment of our lives. He draws on the teachings of various spiritual traditions, including Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism, to argue that eternity is not just a philosophical concept, but a spiritual reality that can be experienced in the present moment.

One of the strengths of Howard's argument is the way in which he brings together diverse strands of thought from philosophy, theology, and science. He draws on scientific theories such as relativity and quantum mechanics to argue that our understanding of time is constantly evolving, and that there may be other dimensions of reality beyond our current understanding.

At the same time, Howard is careful to ground his arguments in a strong theological and spiritual foundation. He draws on the teachings of the Bible to argue that God exists outside of time, and that eternity is a central aspect of Christian theology. He also explores the concept of the "eternal now," drawing on the writings of theologians such as Augustine and Aquinas to argue that God's existence is not limited to any particular moment in time.

Throughout the book, Howard presents a clear and compelling argument for the existence of eternity as a timeless, infinite reality that exists alongside our temporal world. He writes in a clear and accessible style, making complex philosophical and theological concepts understandable for a general audience.

Overall, Is Eternity Already Here? is an impressive work of scholarship and a compelling exploration of some of the most fundamental questions about the nature of reality. Whether you are a philosopher, theologian, or simply someone interested in exploring the big questions of life, this book is sure to stimulate your mind and deepen your understanding of the nature of time, space, and eternity

Is Eternity Already Here? by Christian Howard is a compelling non-fiction book that delves into the concept of eternity from a rather unique, logical, and fact-based perspective, in contrast to the typical religious beliefs that dominate the topic.

As the book begins, the author challenges our understanding of reality. He aligns with Einstein's viewpoint that reality is an illusion and employs logical reasoning in encouraging the reader to transcend the boundaries enforced by conventional laws of physics. The book combines spiritual insights with scientific ideas to unravel the concept of eternity, aiming to shift readers from divisive beliefs that lead to hatred to a more unifying spirituality rooted in love. It discusses the accounts of Dr. Eben Alexander, Dr. Mary Neal, and Anita Moorjani, people who died and somehow lived to tell the tale, explores encounters with a consciousness beyond physical laws, and suggests a connection between our existence and a dimension guided by shared energy. It also features personal anecdotes from the author's experiences as a hypnotherapist that enrich the narrative, offering valuable life lessons in this eye-opening exploration of eternity.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book for several reasons. First, I appreciated the thorough research that is evident throughout, as the book covers a wide range of topics like extraterrestrial involvement in history, advanced ancient technologies, and the potency of the human mind. I found the book's exploration of ancient Greek philosophy and its links to Christianity enlightening, particularly the emphasis on love as a gateway to a dimension beyond the material world. The author's arguments always relied on logic and maintained coherence, which contributed to the book's overall clarity. The book does well to weave together diverse threads of thought from a variety of religious figures and philosophers while incorporating scientific theories like string theory.

Personally, I have no reservations about the book and consider it to be an enlightening experience. However, I am concerned that readers who have a creationist worldview may be offended by some comments made in the book. I do not think the author adopted the right approach to criticizing people with a creationist worldview. On a personal note, I did not have an issue with this, but certain readers may. The author should consider rephrasing parts of the book.

I found no errors in this book. It was properly edited. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. The book was a very enlightening and thought-provoking read. I found no reason to deduct any stars from my rating. I recommend this book to lovers of spiritual and philosophical books.

Author Christian Howard explains his life's experiences and life's journey through the unknown. Sounds strange doesn't it? However, the title itself speaks volumes. Think about what the word Eternity means to you? If you answered, "Everlasting in some way." I promise you're not wrong.
After reading this book, I have a new and exciting perspective on my life and how it has evolved for me over the years. After reading this book, I feel empowered to enhance my current life's journey. I rate this book a 4 out of 5. It was an easy read with a lot of wonderful and helpful information. Very touching. I highly recommend it to anyone who's been experiencing a feeling of helplessness. We're living in very complex times. We could all use a little guidance.

Another volunteer reviewer who had a lot she did not like - including editing because she was reading an old version prior to corrections, ended her review with this.

This book is for a lost world that needs to see everything we know about life and love pulled together in a way that we can understand who God has called us to be. It does not matter if you are religious, a believer or an atheist this book will impact your mind and spirit into a greater understanding of self and wholeness of being. It explores life from outside the mind and body to inside the spirit and mind connection. It helps us to navigate this life and world we live in. It took his whole lifetime to put all the pieces together for us to be able to glean an understanding of what this life is all about. Have an open mind and heart to hear his message. It is heartfelt, insightful and inspiring. This book is a short cut for all so we can have our lifetime to begin where his work has led us. It is a powerful gift to this world and we are all better off because of it.

And this -

I just finished your manuscript…really enjoyed reading your work.  I found it positive and uplifting, and it just plain left me feeling good about my life, my marriage and everything in general.  It gave me a more positive way of looking at things, and makes me want to be a better, friendlier and more understanding person.  I never found myself being so inspired by reading the bible.  You know, if people would read this and truly take it to heart, the world would indeed be a better place.  What the world needs now is love..............if only the various religious factions, and some politicians would follow this advice..........what a wonderful world this would be (Sam Cooke).  I truly feel honored for having been allowed to read your work.  Thank you so very much!!!!!!
